WMR, like the others noted, is leaving. Long ago I was expecting Microsoft to come up with that mixed reality headset they alluded to years ago when they introduced WMR headsets. But now they seem to be giving up on WMR. Your PC still has Mixed Reality files in the Windows folder since it along with the WMR portal became integrated with Windows. But the the WMR headsets never worked with other headsets. WMR headsets could share code (and shared experiences) with the Hololens in a way, but that ecosystem is bound to their Cliff House (Home environment) never evolved and the Mixed Reality code that can power those two types of headsets.
If you plug this query into search app such as VoidTools Everything, you’ll see all the Windows Mixed Reality software that lives in your Windows folder

It looks like (Oculus – Meta) for the time being won that battle since Oculus in the form of Meta still lives and prospers. The WMR Samsung Odyssey (good headset) was kind of a competitor to the Oculus Rift S as someone wrote about here
