Pico 4 with mixed reality
Pico 4’s mixed reality is not up to par with Quest 3’s (I have both). Picture quality is roughly equivalent, but the Pico 4 has only one color camera and very mild (almost non-existent) depth effect. The Quest 3 has full, correct depth, although with some distortions on near objects like your hands. The depth sensor on the Quest 3 makes a HUGE difference for mixed reality, properly mapping your room in 3D space for objects to interact with. Objects stay properly pinned to the room, whereas on the Pico, they tend to float a bit as you move around in an unconvincing way. I wouldn’t use the Pico 4 for mixed reality. The Quest 3 is the lowest rung of acceptable quality for mixed reality for me.
